About Me – StanTechFix

Hi, I’m Paul, the person behind StanTechFix, based in Peterborough, UK.

I specialise in repairs for small electronics, especially the Nintendo Switch. What started as a personal hobby quickly became a real passion. Over the past few years, I have successfully repaired more than 200 Switch consoles, handling everything from Blue Screen of Death (BLOD) faults to charging ports, game card readers, and even the tiniest audio port issues.

I also carry out advanced internal board-level work for those looking to enhance their consoles. This includes professional hardware installations such as RP2040-based upgrades, completed cleanly and to a high standard with no shortcuts or cheap adapters.

I work on devices Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and weekends, giving each repair the time and care it deserves. Turnaround times vary depending on complexity, but quality always comes first. I believe in getting it right the first time.
