StanTechFix – Terms of Service (Mail-In Repairs)

By sending your device to StanTechFix for repair, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our service.

1. Mail-In Repairs Only

  • StanTechFix operates as a mail-in repair service only.

  • Customers are responsible for shipping devices to us safely and securely.

  • Return shipping will be arranged once repairs and payments are complete.

2. Diagnostic Fees & Repair Approval

  • A non-refundable diagnostic fee applies for no-power or complex faults.

  • After inspection, we will provide a repair quote.

  • Repairs will only proceed once you approve the quote and any required payment is received.

3. Payment Terms

  • Full payment for repairs and return shipping must be made before your device is shipped back.

  • If payment is not received within 30 days after completion, the device may be considered abandoned (see Section 6).

4. Repair Warranty

  • Repairs come with a 90-day warranty on the specific fault repaired.

  • This warranty does not cover:

    • Physical or liquid damage occurring after the repair

    • Unrelated faults developing later

    • Customer tampering after the repair

5. Data Responsibility

  • Please back up all data before sending your device.

  • We are not responsible for any data loss during repair or transit.

6. Abandoned Devices

  • If your device is not paid for or collected within 60 calendar days after we notify you the repair is complete, it will be considered abandoned.

  • StanTechFix reserves the right to dispose of, recycle, or resell abandoned devices to recover costs.

7. Shipping & Liability

  • Devices are returned via tracked courier services.

  • Optional shipping insurance is available on request.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Courier delays

    • Loss or damage during shipping without insurance

    • Pre-existing faults or unrelated issues

8. Limits of Liability

  • StanTechFix is not responsible for:

    • Any loss of data, files, or software

    • Issues arising from third-party repairs or modifications

    • Devices that cannot be repaired despite our best efforts

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
