Confirmation of the selected IC fault
Removal and professional replacement of the selected IC or ICs
Microscope inspection of pads and surrounding components
Charging, USB-C and dock-output testing as applicable
Internal dust removal and fresh thermal compound
Final functional checks
Important Diagnostic Information
USB-C port damage, filters, ESD protection, batteries, corrupted software, damaged traces and other motherboard faults can produce similar symptoms. If the failed IC has not already been confirmed, purchase the Nintendo Switch Diagnostic Service first. Additional faults or board damage are not included and will be quoted separately before work continues.
Warranty
This repair includes a 90-day workmanship warranty covering the replacement part and labour. It does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, tampering, customer-supplied parts or unrelated faults.
Shipping and Identification
The customer is responsible for inbound postage and must create their own shipping label. Send the console to the address shown at the bottom of the invoice and order confirmation email. Include your name and order number inside the parcel. Remove game cards and microSD cards, and do not send Joy-Cons, the dock or charger unless requested. Local customers can select the free Peterborough Workshop option.
