This is a professional mail-in upgrade service for your existing PlayStation 5 controller. StanTechFix installs precision TMR thumbstick modules, calibrates the selected controller or Edge module, and completes input and centring tests before return.
WHAT THIS SERVICE INCLUDES
• Professional TMR installation for the selected controller type
• Calibration of centre position, circularity and full input range
• Functional testing after installation
• 12-month warranty on the installed parts and workmanship directly related to the upgrade
SERVICE OPTIONS
• Standard DualSense – both thumbsticks upgraded: £30
• DualSense Edge – one removable stick module: £30
• DualSense Edge – two removable stick modules: £60
• SCUF or compatible advanced controller – both thumbsticks upgraded: £50
DUALSENSE EDGE
Edge bookings are priced per removable stick module. Send only the module or modules being upgraded unless we ask for the complete controller.
SCUF AND ADVANCED CONTROLLERS
The £50 price includes the £20 advanced-controller surcharge for additional disassembly and flex-cable removal. Contact StanTechFix before ordering so we can confirm that your exact controller model is compatible.
Modified controllers may contain clicky kits, remap boards, glued components or previous repair work. If the controller cannot be upgraded safely, we will contact you before proceeding.
IMPORTANT
This is an upgrade service for a customer-owned controller. A controller is not included.
TMR technology reduces sensor wear associated with traditional potentiometers, but it does not make the controller immune to every possible analogue-stick, mechanical or board fault.
SHIPPING AND LOCAL DROP-OFF
You are responsible for securely packaging the controller and purchasing your own postage label. Send it to the address shown at the bottom of your invoice and order-confirmation email.
Include your name and order number inside the parcel. Use tracked and adequately insured postage. Local Peterborough drop-off is available by appointment.
