Xbox Series X|S Ethernet Port Repair
Xbox Series X|S Ethernet Port Repair
Professional Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S Ethernet port repair from StanTechFix in Peterborough, with local drop-off by appointment and UK-wide mail-in repair available.
If your console won’t recognise an Ethernet cable, constantly loses its wired connection, has bent connector pins or has a physically damaged LAN port, we can replace the faulty port properly using board-level microsoldering equipment.
Common Symptoms
Ethernet cable not detected
Console only connects using Wi-Fi
Wired connection repeatedly disconnects
Ethernet port feels loose or damaged
Bent or broken pins inside the port
Cable only works when held at an angle
Previous unsuccessful repair attempt
Before booking, please test another known-working Ethernet cable and a different router port to rule out an external network fault.
What This Service Includes
Inspection of the Ethernet port and surrounding board area
Removal of the damaged Ethernet port
Replacement Ethernet port professionally installed
Microscope inspection of solder joints, pads and traces
Wired network connection and stability testing
Internal dust removal
Fresh thermal paste
Final functional checks before return
Important Diagnostic Information
Not every wired network fault is caused by the Ethernet port itself. The fault may involve damaged board traces, ESD protection components or other network-related circuitry.
If additional board-level work is required, we will contact you before carrying out any chargeable repairs. You may need to purchase an additional repair service or approve a separate quotation.
Pricing
Ethernet port repair: £60
The first two damaged pads or traces are included where repairable. Additional pad or trace repairs are charged at £10 each and will be confirmed before extra work is carried out.
Severe board damage or previous unsuccessful repair attempts may require a separate quotation.
Warranty
This repair includes a 90-day workmanship warranty covering the replacement Ethernet port and related labour.
The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, further impact, customer tampering or unrelated motherboard and network faults.
Shipping and Identification
Customers are responsible for paying the cost of sending the console to us and creating their own shipping label.
Pack the console securely and send it to the repair address shown at the bottom of your invoice and in your order confirmation email. Include your name and order number inside the parcel so we can identify it quickly.
