Which Xbox controller repair do I need?
Choose the service that matches the fault. If the controller has several faults, intermittent behaviour or an unknown board-level problem, book a controller diagnostic first.
Can you fix Xbox controller stick drift?
Yes. We repair drifting, unresponsive and inconsistent analogue sticks. Standard replacement modules are available, along with Hall Effect and TMR upgrade options where compatible.
Do you install Hall Effect or TMR thumbsticks?
Yes. Hall Effect and TMR installations include calibration and functional testing. The best option depends on the controller model, board revision and the result you want.
Can you repair Xbox controller charging and USB faults?
Yes. We can assess damaged USB-C and Micro-USB ports, loose connections and controllers that will not connect by cable. Port type and repairability depend on the controller model.
Do you repair buttons, bumpers and triggers?
Yes. We repair unresponsive face buttons, D-pads, shoulder buttons, bumpers and trigger faults. Modified or clicky-button controllers should be discussed with us before booking.
Can you work on Elite or modified Xbox controllers?
Many Elite and modified controllers can be repaired, but their internal layouts and aftermarket parts vary. Advanced or modified controllers carry an additional £20 labour charge. Please contact us before booking if you are unsure.
Can I post my Xbox controller to you?
Yes. UK mail-in repairs are available. You are responsible for postage to us and must create your own shipping label using the address at the bottom of your invoice and order confirmation email. Return delivery is selected at checkout.
Do Xbox controller repairs come with a warranty?
Eligible repairs include workmanship warranty cover for the work carried out by StanTechFix. Customer-supplied parts and faults unrelated to the booked repair are not covered.
